Patient definition
Inclusion criteria --- prospective stratum
- patients treated after October 1, 2001
- history of proven or probable IFI
- AML, i.e. de novo, relapse, or secondary, or ALL
- new neutropenic phase with or without secondary prophylaxis
Inclusion criteria --- retrospective stratum
- patients treated before October 1, 2001
- history of proven IFI
- new neutropenic phase with or without secondary prophylaxis
Exclusion criteria
- history of possible IFI, but not of proven or probable IFI
IFI denotes invasive fungal infection
